Central Crude, Inc. was founded in 1976 and over the years became the largest South Louisiana based crude oil purchaser. Beginning in the mid-1990's, we expanded our transportation capabilities by adding numerous crude oil pipeline gathering systems and terminals. Building on our vast experience and expertise in the industry, in the year 2000 we built our first gas gathering system in Southwest Louisiana. Finally, in 2002, we completed one of our 10-year growth goals by adding natural gas marketing to our full service capabilities.

A Message from Steve Jordan, CEO of Central Crude

From the creation of Central Crude in 1974, our company has strived to serve our customers in the most proficient manner possible while working with the newest technologies available. 

Today, Central Crude is the largest, privately owned crude oil purchaser in Louisiana—a distinction we hold very high.  Our company has seven pipelines, a 260,000 barrel tank farm and barge terminal, an extensive trucking division, and pipeline systems throughout South Louisiana. 

Central Crude is dedicated to continued growth, and in recent years we have expanded our operations to include the marketing and transportation of natural gas along with a geothermal division.

After more than 30 years, Central Crude still holds strong to the core values upon which our company was founded.  We consider it our responsibility and commitment to ensure that our operations are conducted at all times in a manner that:
